Abstract

Stakeholders are parties that play an important role in the management of a tourism destination, including the aspect of facilities. Lembah Oya Kedung Jati, located in Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, is one of the tourist destinations whose facilities are still inadequate, despite having great potential. This study aims to explore the role of stakeholders in the management of tourism facilities in Lembah Oya Kedung Jati. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the stakeholders in Lembah Oya consist of primary stakeholders, namely the local community as managers and the tourism community, as well as secondary stakeholders such as academics, the private sector, and the government. The managers, tourism community, and academics have begun to play a role in the management of facilities, although their roles are not yet optimal. Meanwhile, the government has not contributed directly due to limited authority. The main obstacles faced by the stakeholders include budget constraints, low human resource capacity, and extreme weather conditions that affect the condition of the facilities.
