Abstract
Madasari Beach in Pangandaran Regency, West Java, has great potential as a leading tourist destination with natural beauty in the form of white sand, unique coral reefs, and diverse ecosystems. However, its development is still constrained by inadequate infrastructure, limited accessibility, and lack of promotion. This study aims to determine the development strategy to increase tourist appeal. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, where data collection is through observation, interviews, and documentation, which are then analyzed using the SWOT approach to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The results of the study indicate that strategies that can be applied include improving infrastructure, improving tourism facilities, digital promotion, and community-based management. Active community involvement in tourism management is considered to be able to improve economic welfare while maintaining environmental sustainability. This study emphasizes the importance of cooperation between the government, community, and private sector in optimizing the potential of Madasari Beach. With the right strategy, this area can develop into a sustainable tourist destination that provides economic, social, and environmental benefits for the local community.
