Abstract

Pura Ulun Danu Beratan is a leading tourist destination in Bali with strong natural and cultural appeal. The rising number of tourist visits highlights the need to understand tourist preferences. This study aims to identify the factors influencing tourist preferences in choosing Pura Ulun Danu and the relationship between preferences and visit decisions by age. A descriptive quantitative method was applied with data collected through questionnaires from 400 respondents. Data were analyzed using cross-tabulation and chi-square tests. The results show that attraction, accessibility, and facilities significantly influence visit decisions. The age group 28–43 years dominated visitors and showed the highest preference for all three indicators. These findings serve as a reference for destination managers to develop strategies based on tourist needs.
