Abstract

This research aims to explain the tourism potential of the Wee Kacura waterfall in Southwest Sumba Regency and to analyse strategies for developing the tourism appeal of the Wee Kacura waterfall. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were examined using qualitative methods to describe the tourism potential of Wee Kacura waterfall and analysed using SWOT to formulate development strategies for Wee Kacura waterfall tourism. The results of the research indicate a strategic plan for developing the tourist attraction of Wee Kacura Waterfall, which involves developing and improving several components, including tourist attractions, accessibility, facilities, human resource development, and enhancing the role of the government.
