Abstract

West Kotawaringin is a city that has the motto marunting Batu Aji. It has a variety of beaches that are very charming and beautiful. In addition, it has a lot of culinary and various types ranging from coto Manggala, Wadai ilat sapi to Kerupuk Basah in West Kotawaringin there is also an orangutan conservation center and a turtle hatchery. This study uses a quantitative method with data collection through observation methods and distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale measuring instrument. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of destination image and location on tourist visits to Sungai Rengas beach in West Kotawaringin district. The results are that 73.5% has the meaning that the influence of independent variables (X1 and X2) on the dependent variable (Y), which means that the image of the destination and location has an influence of 73.5% on tourist visits and the rest is influenced by other factors that the researcher did not examine.
