Abstract

This study aims to examine how the Silancur Highland nature tourism destination impacts the economic improvement of the community in Dusun Dadapan, Kaliangkrik District, Magelang Regency. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the community’s income has increased, there are more diverse job opportunities, local residents have become increasingly aware of tourism’s potential as a source of income and business opportunities, and there has been an enhancement of the community’s creative skills. The presence of this tourism destination has encouraged residents to actively participate as entrepreneurs, creating additional jobs that contribute to increasing household income. The study recommends that the management provide equal outreach and training to all community members running businesses in the Silancur Highland tourism area, in order to improve service quality, business competitiveness, and to support local economic development.
