Abstract

The presnt study’s focal point is fundamentally intended to explore the effect of service and. facilities on regards of satisfaction of Museum Sandi Yogyakarta’s visitors. Museum Sandi is an educational historical tourist destination that offers numerous insights regarding the background of Indonesian coding. Tourist satisfaction acts as a crucial role in determining the effectiveness of museum’s ability to appeal to new visitors and retaining the returning ones. Researcher applies a survey method, where respondents are instructed to fill in questionnaires. Each datum was parsed by applying multiple linear regression to unearth the causal resonance between independent variables (service quality, facilities) and dependent variable (tourist experience level). The results mentioned that both service quality (X1) and facilities (X2) contribute a sifnificant positive influence on tourist satisfaction (Y). Friendly, informative, and responsive service quality, as well as adequate and comfortable facilities are proven to boost the level of visitors’ satisfaction. Overall, this study concludes that improving service quality (X1) and facilities (X2) at Museum Sandi Yogyakarta can increase tourist satisfaction (Y), which eventually increases levels of visits and museum’s reputation.
