Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of identity and attraction image in branding on tourists' visit interest to Candi Penataran, Blitar. This research uses a quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study consists of tourists who are interested in and currently visiting Candi Penataran. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula with a total of 100 respondents. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires using a Likert scale, while secondary data were gathered from journals, articles, and relevant books. The results of the study indicate that: 1) the identity variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on visit interest (Y), and 2) the attraction image variable (X2) also has a positive and significant effect on visit interest (Y). Based on these findings, strengthening the destination's identity and improving the attraction image of Candi Penataran are essential strategic efforts to increase tourists' visit interest and support sustainable tourism development in Blitar Regency.
