Abstract
Ijo Temple is located on Jalan Candi Ijo, Nglengkong, Sambirejo, Prambanan District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The location of Ijo Temple is very strategic, so it can be easily found with the help of maps. Ijo Temple was built around the 9th century, on a hill known as Bukit Hijau or Gumuk Ijo which is about 410 m above sea level. Because of its height, you can not only enjoy the temple buildings but also the natural views below in the form of terraces like in agricultural areas with steep slopes. Even though it is not a fertile area, the natural scenery around the temple is very beautiful to enjoy. This research used a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 100 respondents, which was determined using the Slovin method. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of Social Media on tourists' interest in visiting Ijo Temple in Yogyakarta. Research data was processed using the latest version of SPSS. The results of simple linear regression analysis show that the regression coefficient for the Social Media variable has a positive influence of 0.814 on tourist interest in visiting. Thus, social media has a significant influence on tourists' interest in visiting Ijo Temple, Yogyakarta.
