Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of tourism facilities on tourist satisfaction at Gembira Loka Zoo; (2) determine the effect of service quality provided by the manager of Gembira Loka Zoo on tourist satisfaction; (3) determine the effect of tourism facilities and service quality on tourist satisfaction at Gembira Loka Zoo. This research is a quantitative study including tourism facilities and service quality as independent variables and tourist satisfaction as the dependent variable. Data collection techniques are surveys and questionnaires. The number of samples used was 100 respondents using the Taro Yamane formula with purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique uses SPSS version 27 software assistance including validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. Hypothesis testing using partial tests and simultaneous tests. The results of the study indicate that partially tourism facilities have a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction at Gembira Loka Zoo, partially service quality has a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction at Gembira Loka Zoo and simultaneously tourism facilities and service quality have a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction at Gembira Loka Zoo. The availability of facilities and services must be in accordance with the needs of tourists because tourist satisfaction is one of the benchmarks for the success of a tourist attraction. The results of these findings can be input for the manager of Gembira Loka Zoo and further research in order to increase tourist satisfaction at Gembira Loka Zoo.
