Abstract

Nature lovers might enjoy a day at Telaga Madirda. The majority of visitors to Karanganyar come to this area to see the scenery. To find out how tourist attractions affect tourists' interest in visiting Telaga Madirda, this research was conducted. Telaga Madirda tourist attraction in Karanganyar, Central Java, became the site of this study, which took place from March to April 2024. A total of 98 participants in this quantitative study were visitors to Telaga Madirda, and they were all asked to complete a questionnaire that included a Likert scale instrument. The research findings established that variable X, which relates to tourist attractions, positively affects variable Y, which measures visitor interest. Since the tourist attraction variable significantly affects the visiting interest of tourists who go to Telaga Madirda, the result of testing the hypothesis of the two variables is that Ha is accepted. The tourist attraction of Telaga Madirda Karanganyar accounts for 70.2% of the variance in the interest of potential visitors, while other unaccounted factors account for the remaining 29.8%. Therefore, the authors suggest areas for future research that can provide an explanation of characteristics such as tourist facilities that are not included in this analysis.
