Abstract

A new tourist attraction that can be developed in Cirebon, West Java is Cirebon Waterland. Cirebon Waterland is a new water tourism destination in Cirebon. The purpose of writing is to develop the tourist attraction of Cirebon Waterland and find out the role of the community in developing Cirebon Waterland. In this writing the author uses qualitative methods. The author conducted interviews, observations and documentation stating that the development strategy that must be carried out to develop Cirebon Waterland is to maintain clean and add different attractions to other attractions. In addition, the role of the community is very important in the development of tourism objects, the manager must hold a conscious socialization of tourism to the community and the community must participate in maintaining cleanliness so that tourists are comfortable when visiting.
