Abstract

Tourism development is an effort to create synergies in the use of tourism resources as well as to increase government regulation. Where tourism activities directly involve the community. The author conducts research on Kethek temple tourism using qualitative methods. The author uses qualitative methods as observation or observation techniques, interviews, observations, questionnaires, documentation, and library study techniques, and searches for materials and sources from print media. Management of the Kethek Temple Tourism Object, Candi Kethek is managed by the Cultural Heritage and the Gumeng villagers themselves and fully managed. The author makes several strategies in developing temple tourism objects into tourist attractions that are of interest to tourists. One strategy is to increase human resources by training the surrounding community about tourism knowledge
