Abstract

The purpose of tourism development in addition to increasing community empowerment is also expected to be a potential sector in increasing Regional Original Revenue. This study explains what happened in the development of tourism in the tourism sector, so that the development of destination tourism can increase visitor attractiveness as the main focus in this paper. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, with in-depth conclusions and disparities of the target groups within the framework of triangulation through sources chosen in data collection, as well as in SWOT analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the tourism sector has become a priority program to increase tourists in the Omah Kecebong in Sleman Yogyakarta. Development of tourist destinations is carried out through collaboration with various stakeholders. Plans for development activities that will be carried out include facilities, improvement of the quality of human resources, and community empowerment.
