Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) Knowing Grubi preservation strategies as traditional food typical of the city of Magelang (2) Knowing how to process grubi making. As a traditional food of Magelang, grubi needs to be preserved so that it remains known and known by the public. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used were interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Data processing is done by reduction, display, verification and triangulation. Data analysis using SWOT. The results showed that the grubi had a unique taste and texture, which should be preserved because it was a traditional food that had been around for a long time. Preservation can be done by introducing to the community and knowing how to make grubi, so that they can play a role in preserving grubi as a traditional food typical of the city of Magelang, Central Java.
