Abstract

Aesan Gede or big dress is traditional clothing that symbolizes the greatness of Palembang. This outfit is a symbol of the majesty of Srivijaya kingdom in the past. Based in Palembang in South Sumatra. Scientific Article Writing is using qualitative method. Conservation management strategy as a big aesan shirt custom clothing Palembang to be known and the public interest as well as foreign and local tourists. He opened many galleries that use traditional dress aesan big, culture art lessons in the school curriculum and promotion should be done through the internet (instagram, twitter, facebook, etc.) and the promotion directly (exhibits, booklets, leafet, etc.). The role of the community in the preservation of participation aesan clothes typical big society is still wearing a big aesan at weddings and traditional dance show.
