Abstract

The Gunung Sempu Church is located only 20 minutes from the center of Yogyakarta, making the Gunung Sempu Church an alternative religious tourism site for Catholics. There are two superior potentials possessed by this destination, namely from natural potential and socio-cultural potential. In addition, access to this place is good and easy to reach. The facilities in this area are already adequate and decent. The potential that already exists in the Gunung Sempu Church is one of the promotional material that has been carried out so far. Previously, the promotion carried out was only limited to distributing posters in several churches and other pilgrimage areas, it was hoped that Instagram's social media would become a wider media campaign. Armed with existing human resources, hopefully this destination can become one of the leading religious destinations in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, especially in Bantul Regency.
