Abstract

Bidara Beach is a beach that has characteristics of black sand and big waves that have the potential to be developed. So this study aims to find out how the revitalization of Bidara Beach based on edubahari tourism in Kulon Progo and how to the government’s role in the revitalization of Bidara Beach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data processing techniques are data reduction, the process of presenting data and the process of drawing conclusions. The analysis used is SWOT analysis. Based on research, Bidara Beach has not maximized promotion, cleanliness and facilities. Bidara Beach must maximize its potential dan innovate for further development.
