Abstract

Opak Zoo is a tourist destination in the city of Yogyakarta. Opak Zoo presents the concept of a nature-based tourism park supported by a surrounding rural atmosphere. This place has many potentials that can be developed, especially with the existence of rivers and various types of animals. In order for the Opak Zoo tourist attractions to be more widely known by tourists even though during the Covid-19 pandemic, the purpose of this study was to determine the development of Opak Zoo tourist destinations during the New Normal Era. This type of research is qualitative research, while the analysis technique used in this study uses a SWOT analysis. Based on the data analysis carried out in this study, it can be concluded that the managers and existing human resources have played an active role, especially in renewing destinations by implementing health protocols. But for the Government it is still not involved and does not cooperate
