Abstract

This scientific article aims to determine the efforts to preserve the Tiwah ceremony and the role of the community in carrying out the Tiwah ritual during the Covid-19 pandemic, conducting research using qualitative methods and using SWOT as a data analysis method. The author finds what is needed in the preservation of this Tiwah ritual, namely that people who adhere to the Hindu Kaharingan religion continue to carry out this Tiwah ritual as such, so that this Tiwah ritual is maintained and maintained from generation to generation, the need to create digital innovations, and maintain the existing potential so that maintained and maintained for generations, always implement health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic and maintain cleanliness in the Tiwah party environment. The Tiwah ritual has a very big opportunity to be preserved if packaged properly it can be a special attraction and a mainstay to be developed into tourism in Bangkal Village, Seruyan Regency.
