Abstract

Grojogan Watu Purbo is one of the waterfalls that has six levels of grojogan which is unique as its charm. Grojogan Watu Purbo, located in the Merdikorejo Village area, Tempel, Sleman Regency, is a Sabo Dam which aims as a lava bag, where if there is cold lava exposure, the lava bag can accommodate material so it does not endanger residents. Qualitative research methods are used in conjunction with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, documentation, and various data sources to clearly identify the potential and constraints encountered, as well as how Grojogan Watu Purbo's management strategy is appropriate for the future. Using SWOT analysis with Internal-External Matrix to compare strengths, weaknesses and opportunities, threats. This study aims to determine management strategies to improve the skills of local communities to create good services and overcome the impact of competition to improve the welfare of local communities.
