Abstract

The research entitled "Development of Rock Climbing Tour Via Ferrata Taman Rancah as Special Interest Tourism in Pemalang Regency, Central Java Province during the Covid-19 Pandemic" aims to increase tourism development as well as knowing Via Ferrata as a special interest tour in the sports sector of Pemalang Regency. In research using qualitative methods. The data used are primary and secondary data. The data collection technique is done by means of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses SWOT analysis. Based on the data conducted by the author, it can be concluded that the uniqueness of the tour is seen in terms of the types of tourism displayed. Efforts to develop Rock Climbing Via Ferrata Taman Rancah by always checking routes to ensure safety, holding events at Taman Rancah, and several stakeholders playing a role in improving their marketing and promotion strategies through social media.
