Abstract

This study aims to determine the supporting factors, problems and development of Nilam Lake as a tourist destination in Kuningan Regency, West Java. This research is a qualitative research. The data obtained by using observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the SWOT analysis of the internal and external environmental conditions of the Nilam Lake tourism object, the authors formulated several strategies for developing Nilam Lake tourism objects, namely optimizing the natural resources owned to be developed as a tourist attraction, Establishing collaborative relationships with other regional objects in an effort to increase security and reduce tourism in the area. Utilizing the funds owned to improve health protocol facilities and improving technology inside the object, collaborating with the Kuningan District Culture and Sports Department to Conduct activities related to the development and training of tourism human resources. Optimizing tourism promotion by determining the right market segment by utilizing its potential and uniqueness.
