Abstract

Oku Selatan has many tourism potentials, it divided into the artificial and natural tourism. One of the natural tourism is Ranau Lake, it located in Bpr Ranau Tengah Sub-district. It is 125,9 km² in width, the depth of the lake is 174 M, lake surface height is 540 M, and the volume is 21,95 km³. Ranau lake is the second largest lake in Sumatera. The biggest one is Toba Lake, it located in north Sumatera. Ranau Lake has big economic values for the society around the lake. It very famous for the society in South Sumatera, beautiful scenery around the lake is one of the reason why the society love Ranau lake. Seminung Mountain located behind the Lake. To be precise, Seminung mountain's sea surface height is 1800. It was another interested thing why you should come to Ranau lake
