Abstract

Desa Sembalun is one of the six village in the Sembalun sub-district. In this village, bellow the slopes of mount rinjani with its scenic view, has many natural opportunities that correspond perfectly to green tourism models in order to minimize the impact of uncontrolled tourist activities. Sociose-culture and improved local economic opportunities, green tourism has therefore called for a response to the environment and traditions of research in using qualitative methods using SWOT analysis techniques in order to determine which strategies might be applied to make use of the green tourism concepts in the sembalun.
