Abstract

After the confirmation of geoheritage status in several tourist attractions in Yogyakarta. One of them is Goa Kiskendo, Kulon Progo, preservation efforts are becoming more and more important for all of us, especially for the surrounding community and tourists who visit. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out the form of preservation strategies and the role of the participation of the surrounding community and tourists which is effectively applied in efforts to preserve the Geoheritage area of Goa Kiskendo, Kulon Progo. With a quantitative approach and with data analysis techniques, will get accurate data and results based on the reality in the field that can be measured.
