Abstract

Tourism development has only focused on well-known tourist objects and there is no innovation in collaborating with the potential of nature, culture and local food. Likewise with several other tourist attractions on the island of Lombok, there is a tendency to start being abandoned by tourists. One of the developments that need to be done to improve the quality of tourism potential is to develop a gastronomic-based tourist attraction and collaborate with the potential of nature, culture and local food specialties. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to determine the development of potential tourist attractions in Gumantar Village, North Lombok Regency. The gastronomic potential as a tourist attraction in North Lombok Regency specifically in the village of Gumantar can be said to be very good but maintains the taste and aroma of the products being marketed, also adds to the variety of these raw materials, not only heavy food must be added. serve but also snacks and desserts.
