Abstract

Waseso Monument Tower is a historical tour in Klaten Regency. Located in the village of Pandanan, Soropaten, Karanganom, Klaten. The Waseso Monument Tower has a potential main attraction, namely the Waseso Monument and the Baskoro Monument. The Waseso Monument was built as evidence of the meeting of Kiai Karsorejo, the elders in Pandanan village and the first President of Indonesia, Ir Soekarno, which is now used as a tourist spot in Klaten. The Baskoro Monument, which was recently built to support this tour. The research method I use is qualitative. Data collection techniques are carried out, observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation of tourists. And the results of this study indicate that the Tugu Waseso Tower tourist attraction which has the potential has a great opportunity to develop this tourism.
