Abstract

Bantul Regency is a district located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). Bantul Regency has various beaches which are tourist attractions with very charming natural beauty, one of which is Pandansari Beach. Pandansari Beach presents a very natural beach atmosphere with a stretch of black sand along the soft-textured beach and also blue sea water. Pandansari Beach is an exotic beach because this beach has a lighthouse with a height of 40 meters and dragon fruit agro-tourism. This study uses a qualitative research method, where this method is used to identify related internal and external factors contained in a research object. After getting the factors, then the next step is to analyze the existing data using SWOT. This needs to be done in order to get answers to the problems found in Pandansari beach tourism. After the identification of the factors has been successfully carried out, it will then show some results that can be used as a strategy to improve the quality of the Pandansari beach, (1) form a regulation to simplify the process for the development of the Pandansari beach, (2) the manager holds regular meetings with group members in order to improve the quality of existing human resources again, (3) The management must be more aggressive in promoting on social media to increase tourist visits.
