Abstract

Gunung Sari Temple is one of the places that has huge tourism potential, but until now there has been no development from the government or the tourism office, plus during this pandemic all plans to build Gunung Sari temple must be stopped. This research aims to see the role of the government and society in developing Gunung Sari Temple, then to see the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on development and visitors to Gunung Sari Temple. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data processing techniques namely reduction, the process of presenting data and the process used is the SWOT analysis. The role of the government in providing legality and helping in improving the economy of Gunung Sari Temple, while the role of the community is that the community independently maintains and maintains the Gunung Sari Temple building, so the positive impact of Gunung Sari Temple is felt by the community. Then the appropriate development is to improve service performance by utilizing from managers in predetermined fields.
