Abstract

Bukit Grenden is the natural attractions tourism in Magelang, Central Java. The location of Bukit Grenden is in Grenden Hamlet, Pogalan Village, Pakis, Magelang, Central Java. Bukit Grenden is included in the conservation area of Mount Merbabu National Park (TNGMb). Bukit Grenden has an attractions in the form of photo sports and natural scenery with the background of Mount Merbabu directly. In additional, the attraction is a fog bath. This study uses qualitative research method with analysis used namely SWOT Analysis of environmental factors. Environmental factors consist of 2 parts, with internal factor are strengths and weaknesses. And eksternal factor in the form of opportunities and threats. Bukit Grenden has a lot of natural potential and can be developed while maintaining the sustainability of nature and environment. The participation of surrounding community in the management is very large and has an important influence on the continuity of tourist activities. Mount Merbabu National Park is a related agency that has the final decision of the development of Bukit Grenden.
