Abstract

The Sadeng Beach is the beach with white sand to its uniqueness huge fisheries products. At the beach is have small dock for the ship of fisherman will dock. Seafood culinary and catching fish is the special attraction of this beach, The research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research tourist and local society. The data collection method used in this research is interview, questions, observation and documentation. The data analyzed using SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The result refer that Pantai Sadeng of having tourism potential are great if developed well. Development strategy also adapted to the geography and sociocultural in Pantai Sadeng that can work well. It is expected that the government put special attention to the development of tourism in Gunungkidul so that tourism can be spread evenly across region in Indonesia.
