Abstract

Samarinda Islamic Center Mosque is a very magnificent mosque located on the banks of the Mahakam river. The mosque is located in the LerongUlu Bay, Samarinda City, Kalimantan TImur. The 43,500m² mosque, this mosque has a tower and a large dome that stands erect, of which there are 7 towers where the main tower has a height of 99 meters. The research method uses qualitative method and data analysis using SWOT analysis, where SWOT analysis is used as the formulation of strategic problem on the identification of various factors strategically based on the understanding of an object. Due to the good mosque management process, the Islamic Center of Samarinda Mosque does not need to rely on the government budget to be able to maintain and develop the mosque. Moreover, this mosque has a variety of attractions that can be offered to visitors, besides using it as a praying place, the visitors can try some tourist attractions here, such as climbing the minaret which is one of the tallest buildings in Samarinda.
