Abstract

Bantul is one of the regencies located in the South of Yogyakarta Special Region. Tholpit is a typical culinary Bantul with main ingredients of rice flour, grated coconut and brown als. sugar, And have a unique shape like male genit How to find answers from all the formulation of the above problems, the authors perform with qualitative method and by collecting data in the form of observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation, while for data processing using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. From the results of research with the above method in the know that the government participate in preserving that traditional food tholpit in terms of promotion, the community has also made an organization within a village in Sanden Bantul. And the tourism actors in preseving the traditional food tholpit with promote the tradional food.
