Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the role of government and the local comunity in managing and developing tumang village tours to incrase the number of tourist visits. The main issue how well government role and local community towards cooper craft bussiness in tumang village and what are the problem and obstacle to faced. The research method used is qualitative and data collection using observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire. Data analysuis using SWOT. The results of the research of tumang village tours this still needs a lot of improvement both in terms of facilities, accessibility, regulation. The role of the local community already participate and support the activities made by the government or the craftsmen. The role of government is not yet there. Effort management is one way to create new innovation.
