Abstract

Antub Dance Drama is very potential art besides has born from Tirtoadi Village’s local people, the characteristic of this art is come from the costumes that are different with the other art. Research approach using descriptive qualitative research method. The subject of the research is the former manager of the organization of Antub Dance Drama, the government and the local people with observations and interview. The government play a role by providing regulation and give sosializtion to the Tirtoadi Village’s local people and the organization committee of Antub Dance Drama. Antub Dance Drama had very less interested because it has experienced 22 years of suspended animation. The cause of irregular organization management is the fact that is busy and lacks a awareness of the importance of the preservation of indigenous culture in Sleman district.
