Abstract

The younger generation will play an active role in the preservation of the lancang kuning dance because if the goverment and managers only encourage help and facilitate them to preserve the lancang kuning dance. They are students, students and the community who will preserve the lancang kuning dance by showing it in a school farewell or art perfomance. The goverments is actively promoting socialization to riau provincial schools to be aware of the cultural arts of riau province so that it can always be maintained and not extinct in the past. The strategy carried out to preserve the lancang kuning dance is by making Riau people aware of their own culture and maintaining their sustainability so that it does not become extinct by inviting young people to continue learning and studying their cultural dances especially the lancang kuning dance at the laksemana dance training center.
