Abstract
The problem discussed in this study is the strategy of increasing Trenggole beach tourists as a hidden tourist destination in Gunungkidul Regency. The strategy of increasing tourists has been carried out on the coast of Trenggole. The research method used in this study is the qualitative method. While the data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and literature studies. After the data obtained was collected, the data was analyzed by using the SWOT technique. The results of the study show that: Trenggole beach tourism object actually has no less good potential than the beaches on the southern coast of Gunungkidul Regency, the potential that exists if it is developed properly can have a positive impact on the economy of the communities around the tourist area of Trenggole beach and its surroundings. For this reason, Trenggole Beach has very good potential and there is still a lot to be developed because Trenggole beach can still be said to be a natural tourist attraction, rarely touched by tourists so that the nature of Trenggole beach is still very good.
