Abstract

The research entitled Development of Mustika Pancer Beach as Tourism Attraction in Banyuwangi East Java", has a goal to maximize the potential of Mustika Pancer Beach by optimizing the role of Government and Society, and knowing what strategies will be used to develop Mutsika Pancer beach. The method used in this research is qualitative. The data used are primary and secondary data. While the technique of data collection is done by observation, interview, documentation. Data analysis was carried out through a SWOT analysis technique. Based on research data conducted by the author, it can be concluded that Mustika Pancer Beach is a tourist attraction that has many tourism potential to be developed. The Government's role is to supervise, support and grant permission. Then the Role of the Community is very supportive, and help all the activities that exist in the region. The development strategy that will be carried out in Mustika Pancer Beach area is to maximize the potential by improving access road, build more toilet facilities, and soon, through social media, creating new attractions, collaboration with travel agencies and also ask for help local and central government to promote Mustika Pancer Beach area.
