Abstract

Gunungkidul Regency has many tourist attractions. One of them is Ngrumput Beach, which has a vast beach area and has a hill Kosakora, making this beach often used for camping activities by visitors. The white and clean sand adds to the beauty of the beach behind these hills and rice fields. The type of research used in this study is descriptive using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study by observation (observation), interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the development of Ngrumput Beach tourism objects had several weaknesses and advantages. Every advantage is a good thing for Ngrumput Beach to be a supporting factor for the arrival of tourists. Conversely, weakness becomes an obstacle to its development. The manager can immediately correct existing weaknesses and improve their superiority so that the development of Ngrumput Beach can run well.
