Abstract

Badud village is a rural natural area located in Margajaya Hamlet, Margacinta Village, Pangandaran Regency and managed by tourism actors and the local Village Government. In the natural tourist area of Badud village, tourists can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of the mountains and watching the traditional Badud ceremony held every year This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive techniques. This method describes the components of tourism, the potential or attraction possessed, Badud art, and how the role of the society and government in developing the Badud village tourism area. . The results of this research indicate that (1) Badud village is a rural natural area that has beautiful mountain scenery and has Badud art which is one of the cultural traditions of the indigenous people of Margajaya Hamlet, Margacinta Hamlet, Cijulang Subdistrict, Pangandaran Regency as a conservative ritual and cultural art. as a typical art of Pangandaran Regency (2) The holding of an Annual Event Badud cultural attraction aims to preserve Badud's culture involving the community and the government.
