Abstract
As one of the cultural centers in Java, the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) has a variety of unique and distinctive cultures, and is able to attract the interest of every visiting tourist. Sleman Regency as one of the tourist destinations in Yogyakarta, has a variety of interesting traditions and has its own meaning for each community. The traditions in Sleman are still ongoing and maintained well until now Tumpeng is an important part of traditional festivals. Celebration or festivity is a form of gratitude and thanks to the Almighty for the abundance of crops and other blessings. Because it has the value of gratitude and celebration The research method uses qualitative methods and data analysis using SWOT analysis, where the SWOT analysis is used as a formulation of strategy problems for the identification of various factors strategically based on understanding an object.
