Abstract

Bunga Okura Park is in pekanbaru with 2 hectares of vacant land, which is planted with various types of plants such as sunflowers, red chicken combs, and purple shirt buttons. The okura flower garden is opened at 08.00 - 18.00. the tariff for motorbikes is only Rp. 5,000. while for cars it costs Rp. 10,000. The money earned is money to buy seeds, the addition of facilities and care for the Okura Flower Garden. Besides that, it also has a culture of planting flowers together 6 months. This idea comes from managers and managers inviting the community or youth and tourists to participate in flower planting. Zoning of existing types of plants such as the type of sunflower that is formed by the heart, zig zag shaped chicken comb, round button flower. in the future, it is necessary to develop processing organic waste into compost. Making environmentally friendly facilities such as wooden gazebos, bamboo beds, bamboo and wood seating. The role of the community this week is more focused on the involvement of the surrounding community. To develop a flower garden, employees need to take care of the plants and cleaners employ the surrounding community. In addition, the manager must invite the surrounding community to sell various souvenirs, food drinks and traditional specialties for tourists by permanently by having kiosks or street vendors in the parking area. This will be the economic value of the surrounding community. So that the existence of the Okura Flower Garden
