Abstract

Semarang District, is a city located between in the middle of Semarang and Salatiga, this city has many tourist destinations, one of which is Muncul River Tubing (MRT). This tour has its own uniqueness. The uniqueness of the river appears as a river from a spring with clear water and beautiful scenery. Community participation in supporting the emergence of River Tubing is already quite good, except that there needs to be special management and attention from the government, because the manager have not yet cooperated with the relevant government so that the development of facilities is very limited. The aim of this research is how the development of the destination Muncul River Tubing (MRT), and how the role of the community and government in the development and management of Muncul River Tubing (MRT).
