Abstract

This research discusses about the development of Simbatan Temple as a historical tourist attraction in Magetan, East Java. The purpose of this research is to identify the potential possessed by Simbatan Temple in order to increase tourist visits so that they are more familiar with the historical tourism objects in Magetan. And so that it can determine the right management strategy. The research method used in data collection is by observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. This reserch uses descriptive qualitative analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of this reserch are the potential of Simbatan Temple still needs to be developed and maximize the facilities with good cooperation between the management, the government and the community.
