Abstract

This research is a research on the management of the Belahan Sumber Tetek Temple in Pasuruan Regency, East Java. This study discusses the management of tourist attractions in the Belahan Sumber Tetek Temple. The analysis in this study uses SWOT and the method used is a qualitative method. The purpose of this research is to find out advanced management strategies and to know the role of the community in maintaining and caring for the historical heritage of the Belahan Sumber Tetek Temple. The Belahan Sumber Tetek Temple is a property located on the slopes of Mount Penanggungan. This temple is a private temple for Prabu Airlangga and his two wives after abdicating from the throne. The uniqueness of this temple is that it has a water source that comes from the breasts of Prabu Airlangga's two wives, namely Dewi Laksmi and Dewi Sri which is the symbol of amarta, namely water that can provide strength, healing, and provide youthful properties for those who consume the water. Along with the increase in tourism at this time, it is necessary to improve the quality of management in tourist attractions. This research will focus on the management of the Belahan Sumber Tetek Temple which has historical heritage with many stories that can be preserved and in the future it can be managed properly with the existing tourism potential, as well as improving management strategies by understanding the weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats of tourism (SWOT). including improving the quality of human resource management, collaborating for promotion and funding and utilizing technology as a means of information to tourists. This includes support for improving the quality of tourism in Pasuruan Regency.
