Abstract

Situs Watu Gatheng is one of the single sites and the mataram era islam in Kotagede Which is located in Purbayan Village, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This Gatheng Stone was one believed to be the stone used by Raden Rangga the son of Panembahan Senoapati, to play bekel. This Situs Watu Gatheng has a very intersting history. This technique or method in this study is qualitative and data analisys using SWOT which aims to analyze the history of the Situs Watu Gatheng then formulate strategies to minimize weaknesses and threats and can maximize the utilization of opportunities from the Situs Watu Gatheng. Situs Watu Gatheng tourism still needs to be developed because of the lack of the supporting facilities and history of the Situs Watu Gatheng is stiil unknown to many people
