Abstract
Indonesian has a culinary appeal that is so incredibly diverse, from the way it is made to the presentation it all has its own meaning. All of this can not be separated from the long history that occurred in society. Culinary tourism is an attraction that will not run out of enthusiasts because it will continue to develop along with the changing times. Ponorogo is a small town which is famous for its Reog. Besides being famous for its culture, Ponorogo also has a special food called Gethuk golan. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research methods which explain about describing research variables without looking for relationships with other variables. This research focuses on the real situation and the disclosure of the problem so that the data obtained are actual facts. The conclusion in this study is that the community needs to improve in carrying out conservation efforts to attract the interest of the younger generation to continue the culinary heritage of gethuk golan and the government must be more active in maximizing the training of human resources for gethuk sellers in order to attract more tourists to enjoy grthuk golan in Ponorogo
