Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategy for developing the potential development of the Ranu Bedali Lumajang, East Java, the tourist destination in the new habits era, the efforts to increase the number of tourists visit during the Covid-19 Pandemic, and the application of new habit in the New Normal era. This research used qualitative research which the data collected by observation, interview and documentation. After collecting the data, it analyzed by SWOT technique. The result shows that a tourism destination development strategy is needed for the creation of superior tourist destinations. There are strategy that applied for the developing Ranu Bedali tourism objects, as follows: 1) strengthen the role of local government through related agencies, 2) adding other attractions to enrich the potential attractiveness in order to achieve the target market, 3) Increasing human resources for tourist services in order to minimize the decrease in the number of visits due to service dissatisfaction.
