Abstract

Maria Ratuning Katentreman lan Karaharjan Gantang Prayer Park is a religious tourism destination in Magelang Regency with good accessibility. A destination that features the statue of Mother Mary and its natural scenery as its main attraction. This prayer garden has been well developed by the management, although the government has not taken part yet. The surrounding community has also played an important role in managing and developing this religious tourism destination. Maria Ratuning Katentreman lan Karaharjan Gantang Prayer Park already has complete and adequate facilities for tourist. But there are still deficiencies in the security sector because the officers still need to be improved. This article use qualitative research methods that are useful as basis for research and also uses a SWOT analysis by looking at the strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats of a destination. Maria Ratuning Katentreman lan Karaharjan Gantang has great potential so that it needs to be developed again in order to become as superior destinastion in Magelang Regency.
